24 Hours in St. Louis, MO

On our drive up from Houston to Chicago Ryan and I decided to stop in St. Louis, MO for one night. We have wanted to visit the city for a long time but our scheduling never worked out. Basically my main reason for wanting to go was always to take a photo of the iconic Gateway Arch! We made it to the arch but were very disappointed to find out that there were tons of construction happening in the area. The city is building an entire park around the arch and the entire area is surrounded by wire fences and red construction tape.

We weren't able to get the perfect photo of the Gateway Arch but oh well. I did not know that you can actually take an elevator to the top of the arch! You have to pay for this of course, but I am terrified of heights so that is never happening anyways.

We decided to grab some lunch at Bogart's Smokehouse, Trip Advisor has them rated the #3 best BBQ in the U.S.! The BBQ was amazing and their customer service top notch.
